I am going to tell you How To Begin Mining Crypto Bitcoin on Laptop. step by step complete guide on Arhixe.com
What is Cryptocurrency:
Cryptocurrency, as the name suggests, is a form of digital money designed to be secure and anonymous in most cases. It uses a technique called cryptography which is a process used to convert legible information into an almost uncrackable code, to help track purchases and transfers.
Finding out what type of graphics card you are using (AMD, Nvidia)
In order to choose what program you will be using to start mining you will first need to find out what type of graphics card you are using as the programs are specific for each brand AMD and Nvidia.
Also keep in mind that some brands of cards are better for specific cryptos than others.
(Example Nvidia cards > AMD cards Zcash/btcz speeds – AMD > Nvidia ethereum/decred speeds)
Open up a command prompt (Windows key + R or go to start menu and type cmd) Once you see the command prompt window open you now need to type in dxdiag. This will open up direct X diagnostics you will be able to click on the display tab and see if your graphics card is a AMD or a Nvidia Keep in mind what type of graphics card you have as you will need to remember it later.
What happens if my dxdiag or lspci says I’m using Intel graphics and chip type?
If you have intel graphics you won’t be able to use them for mining, you’ll need to buy a graphics card or another option you do have however it is not fast or very profitable is to mine with your CPU.
Choosing a coin you wish to mine:
Choose an Online Wallet, Client-Side Wallet or Hardware Wallet.
Online Wallet: An online wallet is a web-based wallet. You don’t download an app, but rather data is hosted on a real or virtual server. Some online wallets are hybrid wallets allowing encryption of private data before being sent to the online server. Some wallets let you control your private keys, some are custodial (you don’t control your keys directly).
Client-side wallet: The most common type of wallet. Otherwise known as a Desktop wallet. Typically an app that connects directly to a coin’s client.
Hardware wallet: Hardware wallets are a tamper-proof electronic device designed to store private keys of your coins in an offline setting. The private keys and digital signatures needed to spend bitcoins are generated via these wallets. Like the way you set up any wallet, you need to write down the seed word (recovery phrase) on a piece of paper and store it in a safe place. Prefer making 2-3 copies & distribute it. As your keys are offline, there is no possibility of getting hacked.
